Overview

This hotel makes it easy for you to discover the rich Romanesque heritage of Jaca, to walk the Santiago Way or enjoy the skiing and mountains in the centre of the Aragon Pyrenees.

Jaqués is a centrally located establishment with a family feel. It is situated on a few metres away from the town hall and San Pedro Cathedral. Relax in the comfortable and private atmosphere of the rooms or the restaurant at the end of a long day of sporting activity.

Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Jaca is a cultural reference point and top sporting location. It is also one of the major exponents of Romanesque art and an obligatory stop on the Santiago Way.

Room information

Wood fittings are used in the room decoration to create a warm atmosphere. The rooms are exterior facing with wrought-iron balconies. The bathrooms are also equipped with a hairdryer and central heating, ideal during the ski season.

Food & beverage

In the restaurant, typical regional products are combined with home grown products to create a Mediterranean menu. House specialities include “migas a la pastora” and typical Aragones roast beef with potatoes.

Area information

Jaca is the capital of the region of Jacetania and is located in the high Pyrenees, only a few kilometres from the border with France. You can enjoy the beauty of this stunning mountainous environment from here, including the peaks and the characteristic silhouette of Peña Oroel.

The town forms part of the Santiago Way and features medieval San Pedro Cathedral, dating from the 11th century, considered one of the first Romanesque monuments in the country. San Juan de la Peña monastery in the outskirts of the town is also well worth the visit.

There are numerous mountain activities for you to try out, including the ski stations at Panticosa and Formigal.
